A NEW VOICE FOR ALL STUDENTS
A central function of the Board is to set the direction for the District through a process involving parents/guardians, students, teachers and staff. The focus should be on student learning and achievement and ensuring that all students are provided the opportunities and support to develop the skills they need to thrive and be successful adults.
As a Board Member, it is important to me that we keep every student's education, safety, and well-being at the forefront of our decisions.
Through the priorities outlined below, I will focus on putting the needs of students at the center of the District's decision-making.

I will work to put the focus back on education and keeping the needs of all students at the forefront of policy development, decision-making, and allocation of resources, and away from actions motivated by personal agendas and interests.

Every student deserves an outstanding education. I'll advocate for programs and resources that close the achievement gap and ensure all students have the tools needed to thrive and unlock their full potential.
By prioritizing students, I'll champion policies and programs that ensure strong curriculum, teacher and family partnerships, and effective resources that meet every student's needs.

Fiscal Responsibility
As a trustee, I will serve as a good steward of RJUHSD resources and taxpayer dollars through long-term budget planning, the development and implementation of proactive strategies, and good decision-making informed by the expertise of our qualified and experienced administration.
